These lots consist of one (1) copy each of a rare 1941 Friends of Music in the Library of Congress set of field recordings in extremely fine, possibly un-played, condition.

The VJM Record Grading System:
N (78). As new and unplayed (there are virtually no 78s that can categorically be claimed to be unplayed).
N- (78). Nearly Mint, but has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage.

There is a full luster on these disks, no spindle marks, no visible scuffs or signs of handling.
We did not test play any of these. If they are indeed un-played, the buyer should be the first to do so.
We photographed only one of the disks as we did not even want to remove them from the sleeves.

The albums themselves betray very little signs of wear, mostly some minor edge rubbing. One album has a 2" split starting from the bottom of
the front hinge, the other album has a scuff on the cover and a split about 2" long in the middle of the back hinge.
Both albums still have the liner notes pamphlet.
After we photographed these we placed bubble wrap around the sleeves in each album and shrink-wrapped the albums.
