issued in feb. 1956 as part of rca victor promotional radio station only sampler records. see scan which shows illustration on the label and says on left hand side 'e-z pop programming no.6' and 'not for sale' on top above that, 'promotion record'--there is a small penmark you can see in scan otherwise label is sharp (no such mark on other side)---title of the elvis track is, 'i was the one'---other tracks include 'juke box baby by perry como (?)---hot dog rock and roll by 'the singing dogs (??!!??)'----chet atkins, jaye p. morgan, dorothy olsen, teddi king, ames bothers, eddy arnold, julius la rosa (singing 'lipstick and candy and rubbersole shoes'-yes, this truly WAS the dawn of early rock and roll), etc. elvis' side has scratches (not anything out of the ordinary from the time period) but plays through fine. the other side is signifigantly more scratched up (but still plays through okay) but who cares---the elvis track is where the value lies---considering how rare, i feel that i'm starting off with a fair price--with NO RESERVE. came from a radio station collection.
