Description

This listing is for the 1957 Mercury Records release of The Del Vikings EP titled: They Sing They Swing Vol 3.  Mercury Records number EP 1-3363.  The record is in Mint- condition.  The songs on the EP are:  "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", "Is It Any Wonder" "Yours" and "Summertime".  The Cover is a Nice Clean VG+ with All Seams INTACT!  The reason for not grading higher is this cover has the glossy thin factory laminate over the front cover slick.  Evidently the extremely thin Factory laminate (similar consistency, only Thinner, to the very outer most dry skin on an onion) applied in 1957 has decided to dry out and start to peel at the edge (leaving a thin white powder coating which wiped right off) and in spots in the graphics area of the front cover where you can see the white powder (dried out adhesive) under those areas. The graphics below the laminate are fine.  Years back I was told this thin laminate can be peeled off without damage to the graphics below, BUT I have not tried to do that and don't know how accurate that is. If not for the laminate drying out and peeling in places the cover would be graded much higher.  Shipping in the U.S. is $3.95.  If you would like Ins. I will check the rates at the P.O. which go according to your Zip Code.
