Description
Here is a RARE vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: Sam Phillips and his Memphis based Sun Record Co. released this album in 1959 "Greatest Johnny Cash" LP-1240 (MONO), this is an early 1st pressing with the heavy 1950's style Microgroove vinyl, still has cool vintage price sticker on the cover, cool! This is Johnny's 3rd earth-shaking album, GREAT tunes, he covers Hank William's "Hey Good Lookin'", "You Win Again", Gene Autry's "Goodbye little Darlin", all Johnny Cash style!
The vinyl rates VG+, is clean and glossy, has some light marks and sleeve wear, nothing heavy or feel-able! Play tested, plays excellent from start to finish. One of the labels has a couple light red lines.
The cover rates strong EX, is clean and bright with gloss and no ring wear, all edges and corners excellent, no splits, no tape, back has pen writing "Daddy", minimal age discoloration, a well cared for 59 year old cover!
Will be shipped in plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will shipped in the sleeve outside the cover to prevent splits.
