Specifics:
Up for sale is a rare 2nd pressing of the 1964 Beatles' American Capitol debut album, "Meet The Beatles". This album is in mono, on Capitol Records, T-2047. This album is a second pressing, which is apparent due to the single B.M.I. credit on "I Want To Hold Your Hand".
- First pressings feature no producer credits, only the song times after the song titles on the record label. There is no George Martin credit on the bottom of the back cover.
- Second pressings feature the single B.M.I. credit on the opening track, "I Want To Hold Your Hand". There is no George Martin credit on the bottom of the back cover.
- Third pressings have three B.M.I. credits, one on "I Want To Hold Your Hand", and two on "I Saw Her Standing There" and "I Wanna Be Your Man".
- Future pressings feature a mix of B.M.I. credits and ASCAP credits throughout the song titles. There is a George Martin credit on the bottom of the back cover.
Overview:

Condition: I do not have a player so I unfortunately cannot play-test any of the albums for sale. I will try to the best of my abilities to describe any and all issues that each LP may have.
"Meet The Beatles" : The record itself is pretty marked up. Mostly hairlines, there are some dust marks and scuffs. Nothing looks significantly deep upon observation. The labels show some wear from age. There is writing in pen on both sides. Someone wrote their name in pen on the A-side in the color band in the red portion. Some age wear in the color band and on the label itself. Song titles are clearly legible however on both sides. Someone wrote their name in what looks like black sharpie on the yellow/green portion of the color band on the B-side. The cover has some wear from age. There is some wear to the opening edge, to the corners, and some ring wear. There is some seam wear to all three seams. The bottom seam is intact, there is some slight rippling but no splits. The top seam shows slight wear but no significant wear. The spine has some splitting, the spine print is mostly legible, there is some splitting on the top of the spine that makes reading the title difficult. The back cover has about the same amount of wear as the front. Slight crease on the lower left corner of the back side. Someone wrote their name in pen on the top of the back cover, the same name on the record label. The "Promotional" stamp is over some of the back text. The inner sleeve is in decent shape, there are two seam splits, about two-three inches each. Shipping Details: Please pay within two days upon purchase as per eBay policies. I will ship albums with records (in plain paper sleeves) outside of the album cover to prevent damage during transit. If the album comes with an original inner sleeve, it will be placed behind the album cover within its plastic outer sleeve. Any kind of inserts will be inside the album cover. I always ship albums in plastic outer sleeves with new plain white inner sleeves.
