Up for auction is a rare collectable rock 'n' roll record album by the latin-rock rhythm girl group Las Mosquitas titled Las Mosquitas on Lewdisc International Records released around 1965. I have never seen this record before and it is still in the original shrink wrap and is a heavy vinyl 60's pressing in mono. It was pressed by Lewdisc International Corporation, 1780 Broadway, New York City. The girls cover a couple of songs I recognize like Phil Spector's Be My Baby and Dusty Springfields's I Only Want To Be With You. Back cover liner notes mention the Liverpool sound and also Motown. One side liner notes are written in English, the other side Spanish (I think). Disc is near mint, Cover is in original shrink wrap and is also near mint. A cool, rare, & unique Record !
