Description

You are bidding on an extremely rare promotional demonstration LP Record of Drat! The Cat! Prior to it's October 9th Premiere On October 9th, 1965 at Martin Beck Theatre in New York, NY

The cover of the demo states there was a show run prior to Broadway in Philadelphia from September 7th, 1965 to October 2nd, 1965.

 

There is no date on Promo but it appears to be made early on in 1965 or late 1964. There are a few of these in existence. There is actually an engraving on the record that also lets you know first Promo recorded (P1) with Lesley Ann Warren, Elliot Gould, Charles Durning, etc...

 

Even though the show is considered a flop - this is an amazing item to have for any Broadway Collector.

 

Jacket is in Good condition - appears to be possibly old dust that I cannot get off and don't want to try and minor bends in each corner. The Top of the Jacket is also 3/4 open - Only Left side and Bottom are completely Sealed

 

 The Record - in the light it appears to be handled very well and if there are scratches they are difficult to find. I did fine a few extremely light ones but difficult to see.
