Description

Here is a RARE psychedelic 1960's album offered up for sale: Frank Zappa 1st ever album with The Mothers of Invention "FREAK OUT", their 1966 debut album, a 1st MONO pressing, released by Verve Records V-5005-2. Has original version of cover with quickly deleted MAP OFFER on inside gatefold, has the "2 LP's For The Price Of One" sticker, super hard to find cover! Reportedly, this was the first ever double lp offered in rock music, a RARE milestone indeed!
Note* The band offered a map to the cool hang out spots on the west coast to all young people who wished to bug out, drop out or freak out and head west! West coast officials were trying to stop the mass migration of free thinking young people and forced the record company to delete the offer of the free map! 
The vinyl grades VG+/EX, are both glossy and clean, have several light marks but nothing heavy, no signs of heavy play, have been well cared for! PLAY TESTED, both discs play excellent from start to finish, minimal surface noise, a VERY enjoyable listen! The Verve printed inner sleeves are clean, only one center split neatly taped.
The cover rates VG+, has bright colors and deep black with only light ring wear, edges show only light wear but has a couple small scrapes to color but are solid, no tape, the binder edge is readable, front has a few scrapes to slick near edge, back has light pen signature in "bubble" (somewhat unnoticeable). 

Will be shipped in plastic outer sleeves in record box with a tracking. The vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover splits.
