Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A personal fave ... these cats have the flavor and buzz, the tracks are infectious upon repeat plays ... recommended to anyone into the JUSTICE label teen scene of the mid sixties...
Soul Inc. ~ "At The Cellar"In the tradition of other great South Carolina GARAGE bands of the Heeey Baby days of the mid sixties, Soul Inc. was a band meant to be seen live and in person - clearly evidenced by listening to their album recorded live at Charlotte, NC's famous night club, The Cellar. Highlights are all over the place, including the moving & grooving cuts: "What Goes Up" "Ain't No Big Thing", "Good To The Last Drop" "She Shot A Hole In My Soul ... Another Soul Inc. raver "Shout Bama Lama" was originally written and recorded by the seemingly ubiquitous Otis Redding for Bethlehem Records and brought to national prominence via Mickey Murray’s potent 1967 version. The Soul Inc deliver a wonderfully raw performance with a gargey, boozy teen-scene splash - everybody's up and groovin to the feel and beat. SOUL INC. formed when a trio of members from The Swingin’ Medallions (Freddy Pugh, Perrin Gleaton, Rick Godwin), left that group in 1965 and teamed up with lead vocalist Eddie Zomerfield. EZ, as he was called, was a very popular and prooves on this album to be a quite convincing lead singer as he leads the band throughout this album in great style... EZ devoted most of his life to music; and formed "Freedom" after Soul Inc. Play that funky garage-beat white boy!!!!! Very similar in content and sound to the equally wonderous (sixties) "ZEBRA SELECTION" LP which looks like this: Side One:
Introduction
Shout Balama
Ain't No Big Thing
You Turned Out The Lights
Good To The Last Drop
Side Two:
What Goes Up Must Come Down
You Don't Know Like I Know
He Don't Love You
She Shot A Hole In My Soul
Knock On Wood
CONDITION: The Cover: Solid... very little wear, bit on back, slight crinkle at top right corner area ... in great shape for a 46+ year old teen scene garage album, VG+(+) has no split seams, no writing, no fading and great album design/graphics ... as rare as they come when talking about USA garage LP artifacts....
The Vinyl: the thick platter is VG++ having some light hairlines, nothing deep, play graded with very enjoyable excellent audio ... and quite entertaining for the style... both Emblem albums are clean
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
