Description
Here is a RARE vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: The Hollies "Beat Group" their third album, title different for USA release (UK title: Would You Believe ~ with variances). Released in 1966 by Imperial Records 9312 (MONO), this is an original first pressing with the heavy vinyl, cover is still in shrink wrap, has original printed inner sleeve. Features Graham Nash of CSNY and their version of Buddy Holly song "Take Your Time", Beatles popular covers "Taste Of Honey" and "Mr Moonlight" as well as self-penned songs. This is upbeat R&B style music, features mono sound mix, different than the Stereo version.
The vinyl rates EX, is super clean and glossy, has only a few very light marks and one small more moderate one, has been PLAY TESTED. This album plays excellent from start to finish! The paper inner sleeve is clean, just a bit of tiny fraying at opening, no splits. One of the labels has a small pen signature.
The cover rates NEAR MINT, the shrink is clean and intact on all three sides with a tear at opening, cover has bright colors, no ring wear, no splits, no tape, binder edge EX & readable, no cut-outs or drill holes, no signatures or writing, has only a bit of very light age discoloration on back at opening, looks minimally handled, a well cared scarce Hollies album!!
