Description
Here is the ultimate rarity for collectors of Joe Meek produced records or 1960s mod classics!
This is the very last record to be released in Joes life! The Riot Squads superb Gotta Be A First Time / Bittersweet Love on Pye Records 7N17237 original & only uk 1st pressing!
Released in January 1967 just a few weeks before Joes tragic end.. Interesting it does not feature a Meeksville sound credit on the label this was due to the financial troubles that Joe was in at the end of his life but its a true & the FINAL ever Meeksville production to be released before his death!
Record is a very good play copy with minor marks but sounds great crisp & loud with no jumps or skips.
The four prong centre appears to have been refitted but its a very good job & i only noticed this on close examination & does not affect playing in any way.
Comes in the correct period Pye company sleeve.
