Description

Here is a RARE album from my collection offered up for sale: An original 1967  "big E" gold label Lp album by The Doors "Strange Days" in MONO mix, different than the more common stereo version! Great songs, Strange Days, Love Me Two Times, Moonlight Drive, People Are Strange, When The Music's Over and more! Still has the printed inner sleeve with song lyrics! This is a first pressing released in 1967 on Elektra records EKL-4014 (Mono). The vinyl grades VG+, is clean and glossy, has some light marks, nothing heavy or that you can feel, has been PLAY TESTED! Plays from start to finish with excellent sound quality, clear sound, minimal surface noise, a VERY enjoyable listen! Has the acclaimed Monarch mastering stamp in the deadwax, cool! The original vintage custom Elektra inner sleeve is clean and bright, has a couple of light discoloration spots at opening edge, center split neatly repaired with non-yellowing tape, all lyrics are readable, looks minimally handled! The mono cover rates near VG, is clean, top and bottom edges have wear to color but are solid, binder edge has damage that is neatly repaired with black tape, no signatures or writing, minimal ring wear. (see all photos) DEADWAX reads: Side one EKL 4014A (mon) "circled MR" symbol triangle 11089 and Side two EKL 4014B (mon) "circled MR" symbol triangle 11089-X.  THERE IS NO RESERVE!
