Here is a album from my collection offered up for auction: A RARE 1967 early press "big E" gold label Lp album "The Doors" self-titled FIRST album by the Doors! This has the hard to find mono first pressing gold Elektra label, dead wax reads "EKL 4007A (A), EKL 4007B (A). Great songs! Break On Through, Soul Kitchen, The Crystal Ship, Light My Fire, Back Door Man, The End and MORE!!! Released in 1967 on Elektra records EKL-4007 MONO. The record grades an easy VG+ to EX, clean and glossy, has a couple of faint marks, has been play tested. Plays great from start to finish with excellent sound quality, only a few faint pops, a VERY enjoyable listen! The gold Elektra labels are in decent shape, initials on one side. The cover rates a strong VG+, has good color, is clean, no stains, no splits, no tape, no signatures, binder edge is EX and readable, has ringwear, light edgewear, some corner bumps. The portrait of Jim and the band is clean! Has the original printed inner sleeve. (see photos). There is NO RESERVE PRICE!
