Here is an album from my collection offered up for auction: A MEGA RARE vintage 1967 MONO Lp The Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour" This is an ORIGINAL 1967 MONO released by Capitol MAL-2835. Contains ORIGINAL COLOR PHOTO CARTOON BOOKLET. The MONO version has a different sound than the more common stereo version. Hard to find as MONO was a limited press as most had gone to stereo by 67'. Book value $300. This is a very respectable great playing original. The record grades VG/VG+, is clean and has gloss, some light marks on both sides, nothing heavy, has been PLAY TESTED. A couple of errant pops in "Penny Lane" otherwise plays with very good sound quality throughout!. A very enjoyable listen and way different, more full sound than the stereo version. Labels are clean, no signatures, only light wear. The gatefold jacket is VG/VG+, color is still vibrant inside and out, clean, only light wear. The rear cover is still great shape with some ring wear. Top and bottom (center) seams have been neatly repaired with non-yellowing tape, no stains, no signatures, no drill holes or cut outs. The inside gatefold is clean, small center split in slick, old tape shadow near top opening edge. The binder edge is EX, clean and readable. The color booklet is clean, no stains, no writing, no bending, center pages are still stapled together, but has become unattached from the cover, a common problem. There is NO RESERVE PRICE!
