PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. EXTREMELY rare = Original 1967 first pressing of an obscure DUTCH psychedelic rock bsand from Holland who had the sounds & visions of America's "West Coast Scene" of '67
It's MONO and ISSUED ONLY IN HOLLAND...much much more rare than a lot of the big $$$ ticket items of the era...
The CLEES FIVE was founded on the remains of the bebop jazzers "The Flamingos" and The Croo Nies, recruited by the Stevens brothers gathering good musicians from various high school "beat-rock" bands. The leader of the gang was Clement of Herzele, who was nicknamed "Clee." The Clees Five gradually built a solid reputation in around Zottegem Holland. In 1966, the remarkable female vocalist, Griet de Bock (aka "Kate") was recruited in the group and gave the band, not only a completely different sound, but a vibrant visual look as well. The Clees Five merged into the "Now Sounds" hippie psychedelic-music scene and reflected a West Coast (USA) focus in their direcection, reminding in parts of groups like Jefferson Airplane & Neighb'rhood Childr'n. Elsewher of interest are rarely heard covers of tunes like The Rolling Stones great "We Love you" and "Ha Ha said The Clown" (Yardbirds) ...Yet, So dedicated to the San Francisco Sound, a year after this album ('67) the Clees Five scored the tune "No Other Man" which was a direct nod to Jefferson Airplane...The Clees Five managed one more Lp in 1968 (very rare like this one) titled "Hit Parade", before vanishing without a trace...

CONDITION: The cover: rated clean VG++ very fragile, laminated on front and still retaining fresh original colors. No more than a little previous handling is visible, nothing to keep anyone of interest away...has no delete marks, no split seams, and no writing ... very scarce collection worthy rarity ...
The vinyl: Clean and glossy over both sides, rated: VG++ having only some very light wispy top surface scuffs, vastly clean otherwise, plays with completely excellent audio and MONO Philips labels are clean
