Andrew Hill “Compulsion” 1967 US Re-Issue – Liberty Blue Note BST 84217 Stereo - Jazz - “RARE” - Bert Agudelo Lacquer Cut; Research Craft Pressing. Recorded 1965.
FEATURES: “A Division of Liberty Records, INC.” on vinyl labels; “B.A +BNST 84217” etched in runouts; "1's" are serifed, 84217 on spine and front cover.
Andrew Hill, John Gilmore (Sun Ra fame), Freddie Hubbard, Joe Chambers, Cecil McBee and Richard Davis w/ Africa Rhythms.
VINYL VG: PLAYBACK: plays near MINT – hardly any noise, Occasional louder pops prevent this from being MINT; no skips, sticks or warping. VISUAL INSPECTION: Minor surface wear. Some noticeable scratching; Name written in ink on vinyl label.
COVER VG: Cover is beautiful; minor wearing along bottom edge; No seam splits.
SLEEVE: original paper sleeve has tears – replaced by new sleeve – includes both.
