Description
Here is a RARE album from my collection offered up for sale: An original psych rock band LOVE, their album "Forever Changes", released in 1967 on Reprise Records EKS 74013 Stereo, this is an original first pressing on heavy vinyl with the gold "Big E" Elektra labels, cover still in shrink wrap! This hard rockin' band has a similar sound to The Who. Arthur Lee was friends with Jimi Hendrix and Jimi was the featured guitar player on another album by this band. This album is getting SCARCE and this one has marks but it still plays great, great cover!
The record grades VG, is clean and glossy, has some light marks, has some small more moderate ones, has one heavier feel-able handling mark at edge on side two, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays very good with bright sound and some background pops but no skips or jumps and is a VERY enjoyable 46 year old psych record!
The cover rates strong EX, shrink has a few tears and a missing section on back, colors are bright, edges and corners excellent and solid, no splits, no tape, binder edge EX and readable, has a pen calligraphy name near opening (on both sides, see photos), has a couple faint spot stains/age discoloration near edges, has been very well cared for! Still has the vintage Elektra printed inner sleeve, clean, no splits, no tape, looks minimally handled. (see all photos)
Will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. The vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover splits.
