PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Rare sixties fuzz/psych album on collector wants lists...here comes thee original 1968 first pressing in old unipak gatefold ...The Suprise Package delivering lots of wigged-out fuzz psych cool....with a simalar sound to "THE HEAD SHOP"
The SURPRISE PACKAGE were 1968 U.S. longhairs in fuzz-box foamin' guitar/organ fronted Psychedelic-Rock album w/shaky jam-out on the 15 minutes plus title-track ("FREE UP" ); sort of speed-freak Vanilla Fudge w/white-boy psych and bluesy edges for all your collectible needs. Excellent freaky improvisations in some parts. Very Essential for acid heads.
The Surprise Package were a Seattle, Washington group consisting of Fred Zeufeldt (drums, backing vocals), Michael Rohers (organ, bass, backing vocals), Greg Beck (guitar, backing vocals), Rob Lowery (lead vocals).
As noted above, late-60s heavy psych: beefy vocals, lots of organ, loud fuzz guitars -- "FREE UP" has plenty of moments, and the guitar sound is very nice with some cool feedback. I

The vinyl is ALL clean and shiny/glossy both sides near M- and plays CLEAN all the way through....the LHI labels are BOTH CLEAN too...
CONDITION: The Cover: slight wear started, rated: VG(+) old unipack gatefold Cover is solid with strong seams, no bends, no writing... REALLY HARD to find without shelf wear, most all copies IF found have heavy shelf wear, this is considered a decent collection copy for sure ... still with bright original colors, has no split seams, no bends, no writing and no delete marks = very collectible....
The Vinyl: rated: near M- ALL clean and shiny/glossy both sides play CLEAN all the way through....the LHI labels are BOTH CLEAN too...
