Rare sixties fuzz/psych album on collector wants lists...here comes thee original 1968 first pressing in old unipak gatefold ...The Suprise Package delivering lots of wigged-out fuzz psych cool....
1968 U.S. longhairs in fuzz-box foamin' guitar/organ fronted Psychedelic-Rock album w/shaky jam-out on the 15 minutes plus title-track ("FREE UP" ); sort of speed-freak Vanilla Fudge w/white-boy psych and bluesy edges for all your collectible needs. Excellent freaky improvisations in some parts. Very Essential for acid heads.
The Surprise Package were a Seattle, Washington group consisting of Fred Zeufeldt (drums, backing vocals), Michael Rohers (organ, bass, backing vocals), Greg Beck (guitar, backing vocals), Rob Lowery (lead vocals).
As noted above, late-60s heavy psych: beefy vocals, lots of organ, loud fuzz guitars -- "FREE UP" has plenty of moments, and the guitar sound is very nice with some cool feedback.

CONDITION: old unipack gatefold Cover is solid with strong seams, no bends, no writing... has a little light shelf wear, VG+, back too. still very collectible....
The vinyl is ALL clean and shiny/glossy both sides near M- and plays CLEAN all the way through....the LHI labels are BOTH CLEAN too...
