On offer here is a 1968 UK original ‘Stereo LP by THE IDLE RACE, titled “THE BIRTHDAY PARTY” on the LIBERTY label(Blue labels) No. LBS 83132 with A//1 & B //1 first pressing matrix Nos.
Record is housed in a MacNeil Press Ltd non-laminated gatefold cover.

Record can be described as “Nr Mint”,but there are some very light patches of discolouration on both sides opening two tracks caused I think by a chemical reaction between the vinyl and the inner sleeve’s transparent dust cover. According to the previous owner’s wife, it probably has not been out of the sleeve since new other than for recording to tape. This discolouration does not have any effect on play, it’s even quiet between tracks.
The non- laminated cover shows light shelf rubbing wear, otherwise it’s excellent.
Tonight and for the nexr few nights all my listings are from the same collector, who only played them the once or twice before recording them to tape, all are 1965-1969 UK original issues and include, Bee Gees , Dylan, Stones, Nice , , Beatles, etc.. etc.., nearly all in "Mr Mint condition
