Description

Excellent, guaranteed original, 1969 PROMO Acid Psych LP by THE 32,000 POPUND BAND entitled "Heavy Balloon" on Elephant V Ltd. Records (#104, Stereo). Fantastic set of upbeat tunes!  Solo album of East Coast Acid Blues from the American combo. Folk, acid blues and psychedelia in 9 tracks now difficult to find like Barnayard blues or an hard surrealistic version of "I Don't need No Doctor." Bobby Nothoff of HEAVY BALLOON also plays with Rocket & the Crazy Horse. Another member of the band C.Osborne also played on a David Peel album and Yoko Ono line-up. Wild US bluesy acid-rock, with fuzz guitar! Condition: Cover = solid VG+ (light wear, no seam splits - but "chipping" staring at the bottom seam), Record = beautiful VG+ (very light paper scuffs - plays through fine though!).
