1969 ORIGINAL UK FUZZED BLUES ROCK RARITY

           RAM JOHN HOLDER

        BLACK LONDON BLUES

\                                                   CND  - TRANSWORLD - TWS 6722

Original 1969 first pressing vinyl recorded in England...a widely sought after and very rare collectible 10-track electric rock - blues album with loads of fuzz guitar and perfectly fitting vocals full of imagination, painting word pictures that accompany the music soundly...

There can't be too many LPs given over entirely to songs about London. There can't be too many blues LPs about London life. So Ram John Holder's Black London Blues is a very special record indeed. It's as rare as anything, and has yet to be salvaged, but if you use your imagination then you'll find a way to hear it. Every cut is titled the "(something) Blues", 'Notting Hill Eviction' which reflected life as he had lived it in the years when, after decades of economic depression, world war and austerity, thousands of people were trapped in slum conditions while prosperity grew around them. This a tight formidable electric rock/blues band that has the right sound, with a swaggering cool groove throughout. The sleeve is in nice condition with only the lightest scuffing which is great because it is very rare and extremely collectible. As far as we know it has surprising never been released on CD.

CONDITION: The Cover: the old style thick cover is all solid, having but very slight shelf wear that amounts to very little. VG++ overall that should be readily acceptable for virtually any collection.

The Vinyl: all very shiny clean over both sides, having no more than harmless very light scuff here or there...visible VG++ and play grades flawless clean. We've play graded this album twice all the way through and is a cool listen...one that we would collect ourselves. Oh, clean labels too.

A cool addition to anyone's music library!
