We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Advance release WHITE LABEL PROMO ~ Original 1970 first pressing of a much sought after HARD PSYCHROCK collectible...

Like Bull Angus, so...what we have here is solid hard rock with layered, soulful vocals and lots of sixties style melodies and druggy aroma drenched in underground bluesy rock,  heavy structures -- Highlighted by "Runnin Through My Mind" and the 9 min "Blues" (in three parts) both songs are bluesy pysch rock with Hammond organ. The song long track "Blues"(in three parts) is one of the best tracks on the album with smokin guitar and hammond organ mixes getting it on...decent vocals as well.

Rock Island formed in 1969 in Philadelphia and had a few different line-ups before the final members that recorded this album, which consisted of Cobb Bussinger (Hammond organ, vocals), Mike Kennedy (guitar, vocals), Frank Schallis (drums, vocals), B.J. Taylor (lead vocals), and Tony Curcio (bass). Three of the members-Cobb, Mike, and Frank -were previously in a band together named The Many Few.

CONDITION: The cover: The cover is a fragile matte style cover and generally almost always shows wear, here the front is pretty clean, VG+ while the back cover(VG) came in contact with a little moisture (not much) and (see photo #1 & #2) has a little bit of stain that blends in, otherwise slight wear...a keeper copy given the fact of fragility and still a decent appearance and the white label promo vinyl is minty clean . There is a promo sticker at bottom left corner that raises the value as a limited advance release promo... No split seams, no writing...   

The vinyl: Very clean over both sides, M- plays TOP level clean...White Promo Project labels are 100% clean...
