Description
I have been collecting records for 25 years now. A few years ago I had the chance to meet one of the EMI / Pathé Marconi french sound engineers who worked for this company from the mid 60's till the mid 70's.
The guy I bought them had the chance to recover one copy of the Gene Vincent's Test press " MEMORIAL ALBUM" and some others that you'll find on ebay ( JOHNNY RIVERS, PINK FLOYD, SONNY ROLLINS, RAY CHARLES and EDDIE SOUTH ).
The 4 records still have their original white paper protection sleeves ( some are a little bit damaged, see pics ). Each one has an handwrited reference of the side.
Every side A label is handwritten with the # of the side and the very first title appearing on that side. Every B side is blank.
First record : Be bop a lula / Race with the devil / Say mama / Frankie and Johnny ( unreleased ) / Reddy Teddy ( unreleased ) / Double talking baby ( unreleased ) / Dance in the street ( unreleased ).

Of course, all the titles mentionned to be "unreleased" were unreleased at the time ( 1971 ) when this memorial album was issued.
These 4 records come with the original french laminated PS ( a little bit tired, but still in good condition ).
AS EVERY RECORDS COLLECTOR HAS HIS OWN WAY OF CLEANING RECORDS, THESE RARE RECORDS HAVE NOT BE CLEANED. I HAVE JUST TOOK OFF THE DUST USING A SMOOTH VELEVET BRUSH.
