PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE! first 1971 original thick/weighty pressing of widely unknown Lp that happens to be highly rated, and of course, sought by in-the-know collectors, deservedly so .... this is an oh-so hard to find, expensive Peruvian psych Lp with laminated gatefold sleeve...
EL ALAMO is filled with sunshine psych -- like the sound of "Creation of Sunlight" and "Frederic" Lp's meeting up with the Traffic Sound "Virgin" "LP ... Sounds more like 1969 than 1971.
Peruvian purveyors of dreamy acid psych, here's choice slab of psychedelic exotica. A first glance might suggest the that dominant influence at play here is Crosby, Stills and Nash, given that the first track here ("Candy") is in the Suite: Judy Blue Eyes vein, but thereafter, things take a liquidly acidic turn with the very Traffic Sound-like psychotropic swoon of "Can You See Me." From there on out it's a bag of beautifully well crafted songs laced with tripped edges and mostly in English. Of particular highlight comes the completely fried by LSD delusions 6+ minutes "Malos Pensamientos" -- the Lp's title track, a pinnacle gem of South American psych...

CONDITION: The cover: Laminated gatefold, hard to find clean (hard to find in any condition) -- this copy rated VG+ with light previous handling...certainly serves the collection purposes ... has fresh original colors, no alarming or extreme problems, just lightly "used" ... a mint copy would draw collector interest in the $400 - $500 + value area.
The vinyl: Overall a pretty decent copy, rated VG+ there are small, very light bits of discoloration due only to the nature of manufacturing (no audio affect) -- few minor scuffs, a longer light hairline on side two... and then vastly clean as is the play grade -- tested twice, the Lp plays in upper "EX" (excellent) audio levels, small ineffective minor/light tick here or there does not even come close to taking the wide/full enjoyment from this gem. Both "Decibel" labels are clean ...
