PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. ALWAYS been hard to find, a burried nugget straight from the GRATEFUL DEAD's early '70s acid ballrooms sights and sounds ...
Legendary electrified rural rockin' outlaw band SANTA FE catches the listening attention quickly with their hardly ever seen 1972 first LP issued on the highly collected RTV Records label, same label that issued Merrell Fankhauser and Mu's Lp . With an album filled original material, GOOD EARTH deliver strong Grateful Dead-styled early '70s West Coast sounds with also the sound of MOUNTAIN BUS who issued a highly collectible private press in the same time frame.
SANTA FE consisted of singer/guitarist Woody Minnich, lead guitarist Rob Riggs, bassist Steve Salas and brothers Bill (drums) and Joe (guitar) Saputo. Good Earth feature a harder rocking sound - devoid of lame ballads, not a bad track on either side, the tracks are tight and well performed, always kickin' up with the winding Garcia-styled guitar leads. The vocal trade offs and harmonies grow on the listener. Tracks such as 'River Life', 'Father Love for Live' and 'Tag of an Indian Summer' featured a distinctive ecological-orientation, but without being preachy or irritating. Even the pro-Native American sentiments expressed on 'As Long As the Grass Grows' were subtle and thought provoking. The fact that virtually every one of the nine songs sports a nice melody and some first-rate harmonies certainly add up to why the album is sought after by music collectors.

CONDITION: The cover: As always with this highly wear prone cover, there is some lighty shelf wear, graded VG+ nothing bad really, oinfact much better than the usual copy that rarely pops up (after that it is very solid and tight with nice original colors, small promo circle at top right...and no other issues) ...no split seams, no bends, and no writing ... collection worthy rarity ...
The vinyl: all clean and clear, TOP COPY rated M- and plays smoooth! Both PROMO RTV labels are clean
