We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 22,000+ positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. This is the MEGA-RARE 1972 PRIVATE PRESSING in THICK grainy custom cardboard art sleeve (the original was only in plain white demo sleeve) ...
The mighty GRAND THEFT were into Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk and Black Sabbath ...the obvious targets & inspirations featuring this "heavy monster rocker" crew roaming the upper North West USA in the early '70s... GRAND THEFT whip out a lethal dose of CRAZY hard [crude fuzzed] power jamming from the Americanised sub-Cream school of deep penetration...
Here’s where the legend begins, right from the first track – ‘Scream (It’s Eating Me Alive)’ being literally screamed through the speakers with violent demented force! It’s really “It’s eating me alive.... AAAAAAAGGGHHHH!!!”, which leads straight into a savage riff with grinding demon guitar, fuzz-chording bass, drums splashing all over and raw yelping vocals. Much of the song gives way to a ferocious acid jam that’s making one think of ‘Let Me In’-era Poobah buzzsawing chunks out of your speakes until the end of the track.
‘Closer To Herfy’s’ [10:11] is the epic tale of a late night journey to the nearest burger bar, musically a building slow-burn of melancholy downer rock circling Grand Funk’s ‘Closer To Home’ and it’s ilk. The lyrics are a hilarious mix of straight-faced seriousness of a sad, life-and-death quest, with ridiculous over-the-top peaks....and this cat's got the serious blues! At a certain point, the singer is led back to his padded room by a couple of brick-shithouse white-coated orderlies and finally the Lp ends with the maniacal melody of "Closer To Herfy's" in Reprise

A2 "Closer to Herfy’s" was the backbone song and a take on Grand Funk’s ‘Closer to Home’ being the driver for the purpose of the madness. B1 Log Rhythms/Meat Midgets Another ‘written while being played’ song [as were all but one, at our irreverent best. B2 Depression City RFD taking a jab at the teenage angst of the day (and brilliantly, I might add). B3 Ohms/Closer to Herfy’s Reprise, you hear the magical jams in this by chance recording that happened for a reason in as raw & heavy as they ever came, 50+ years ago.
