We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Rare and sought after...Original 1972 German first pressing on the SWIRL VERTIGO label ... The German pressing delivers dynamic wide range sound outstanding ...excellent and  diverse progressive rock with great moves, infectious compositions...

Pathfinder is mix an heavy rock and melodic progressive movements that combines long suites to some shorter songs in the vein of Cressida or Raw Material, and with a constant presence of a mellotron and harpsichord keyboards -- listen to them in the long strange and *best* version of "McArthur Park." As in the first Beggar's Opera albums, there's always an aggressive electric guitar, which compensates for the sometimes melodic atmospheres...Other standouts includes a couple of sinister, occult-themed songs, with "The Witch" and "Madame Doubtfire" that could remind you of the Crazy World of Arthur Brown (without Arthur Brown's distinct vocals) or Black Widow -- the music is actually quite in line with British progressive rock of the time: emphasis on strong melodies. As for the keyboards, the hammond organ is by for the most dominant. "Hobo" which starts the album off bold & rocked-out in a very catchy affair, and the title track has great vocal harmonies that sound exactly how the Byrds might have sounded like if they were a progressive band. Some collectors consider "PATHFINDER" as their peak...

CONDITION: The cover: fragile fully laminated cover has some visual handling, VG++ with bit of light scuffing to lamination which doesn't really show up unless reflected by strong light...otherwise excellent ... no split seams, no writing 

The vinyl: is glossy on both sides VG++ has some minor top surface soft scuffs, nothing much, plays excellent and should appeal to many collectors even at under mint...clean swirl Vertigo labels
