Description
Offered here is a scarce vintage 1974 copy of Emerson, Lake and Palmer's "The Callow and Crash and Idle Eyes" album on the Amazing Kornyphone label.
"TAKRL 1911 A-REI" etched in matrix of Side One, "TAKRL 1911 B" etched in matrix of Side Two.
Side One features Hoedown, Still...You Turn Me On, Lucky Man, Toccata, Jerusalem, Brain Salad Surgery.
Side Two features Karn Evil 9 (1st impression Parts One and Two), (2nd Impression), (3rd Impression).
Record has been in storage for some years - front cover photo shows tape wear. Inner sleeve has split at edges, but appears to have protected the album itself, as it appears to be in nice condition.
"The Amazing Kornyfone Record Label (TAKRL) was one of the first bootlegging record labels in America. Kornyfone was based in Southern California in the 1970s. The label released albums from such artists as The Beatles, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Joni Mitchell, Pink Floyd, Genesis and others. Kornyfone was known for their packaging, with interesting artwork and informative covers..."
