In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Very rare...FIRST album by the legendary Australian acid-space crew, Cybotron.
This is a "CLEAR LIGHT OF JUPITER" absolute original mid '70s issue; a lavish gatefold with psychedelic phantasmagoric graphics... awesome stuff and rarely ever offered...
Part Man Part Machine, Cybotron was the synthesis of progressive rock and electronic music experimentation. Conceived by pioneers of the Australian electronic underground, Steve Maxwell Von Braund and keyboardist Geoff Green, together they produced a series of mind-altering cosmic albums throughout the 1970s which set the tone for the Minimal wave and electronic post punk scene. Part early (OHR) Tangerine Dream, part (OHR) Ash Ra Tempel, Cybotron channelled the spirit of Krautrock to create their own unique brand of throbbing Komische electronica rivalling the futuristic vision of their German counterparts
Cybotron's original sound features much more propulsive-energetic vibes into the brainy synthscapes. This is surprisingly punchy and epic at the same time. Consequently this is not relaxation music but an inspired-kinetic and atmospheric voyage through inner spaces. It opens with the epically-moving and rhythmical sci-fi soundscape "Arrakais" with inter-sidereal energies that are penetrating and beautifully catchy. It really delivers and hyptonic, mesmerizing atmosphere. Mumbo Jumbo develops epic driven electronic rhythms, including cosmic-jazzy grooves. Gods of Norse is a true cosmic peacefulness with strangely grandiose melodies, frenetic hypnotic sound effects and perpetual drum moves. Parameters of efects and pulsating hypno-rhythms. Sonic Overdrive is an eerie-tranquil textural soundscape for large mellow synth waves and static sound forms. Essentially strong LP for fans of kosmische-astral psychedelica of the 70's.
