Santa Barbara 1988 - Collection 1 - "A Heavy Metal Compilation" J.E.R. Records - LPJER103
A while ago I bought a bin of vinyl records for my own listening pleasure. While sifting through and seeing what I got, I found this super rare gem in the collection.
I did give this one a solid listen through. The music is definitely 80's rock. Pretty cool to have this time capsule of Southern California's late 80's metal scene. And I am not sure, but maybe some of these bands, or members of the bands, went on to do bigger more well known acts??
The vinyl record itself appears to be in very very nice condition, and looks as though it was rarely played. The record also played nicely for me; no skips or loud scuff sounds. The vinyl might need a little minor cleaning of dust. And very very minor wear might possibly be found if you examine really hard, it is vintage after all....
The album cover does have a little minor wear but is still quite displayable. You can very slightly see the record impression coming through. And there are small bumps and dings here and there. Sorry for the lighting glares in my some of my photos.
Please note that I am not an expert collector nor vinyl grader. I am more of the casual listener, but I might start selling some of the more collectible records I have accumulated over time (once I find out if they are even collectible or not). I did look online to see what more serious collectors look for (Record Collector's Guild) so I can do my best to accurately describe what you the buyer are receiving.
