Description
This auction is for a 1st pressing of Metallica "Master of Puppets" from 1986 on Megaforce Records (Elektra/Asylum). I am being critical on the grading here. You will not find a better copy of the first pressing of this album. I would bet 99% of the megaforce pressing of this album have been played to death. This one is close to new condition. The sound is exceptional. The only time I heard any crackling was at the beginning and end of each side and then it was very light. The sound is amazing. The cover is as close to mint as you will find. As is the original inner sleeve with lyrics etc and the vinyl. I can not point out any specific damage, etc but there is some dust particles on the vinyl is all and the inner sleeve is not as crisp as it would have been in 86. Each cover from open records will be shipped inside a resealable Japanese Style Record Bag. Each vinyl record (from open records) will be shipped in Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab high quality inner sleeves. (They will have the original sleeves included as well except as were specifically mentioned). The MFSL Sleeves are imported, three-ply, anti-static, premium sleeves (similar to rice paper). Back Construction consists of a paper layer sandwiched between two sheets of high density polyethylene (HDPE) with a translucent HDPE front. The MFSL inner sleeves and any original inner sleeves & album extras mentioned in auction will then be put in a thick Japanese type resealable bag. Everything will then be put in a new record box surrounded by profesional packaging. Feel free to email with any questions. Paid auctions will ship on Monday Morning and Thursday Morning.
