We have some great / rare classical record up for auction, Kogan, De Vito and some nice stereo test pressings including SAX and SXL pieces conducted by Szell and Ansermet.

This listing is for a 1st pressing of an exceptional and very rare classical record.
This item is:

  • Gioconda De Vito (violin), playing Bach and Mozart Violin Concertos. Kubelik conducting the London Symphony & Royal Philharmonic Orchestras
  • HMV ASD 429 - 1st UK issue on a STEREO Gold and Cream label
  • This record has been play graded in full:
  • Side1 is in EX condition - 2 fingernail scuffs on one side, a handful of minor ticks on band 2
  • Side 2 is EX- to VG++, this side has some 'sweating' marks on the record - these 'sweating marks' are light marks left on the vinyl due to storage in the poly-lined inner sleeve for a very long time; these are visible under a light. There are some light static type background tics on this side and a few light clicks, these are minor. The sweating marks can be seen on photos number 11 which was taken under a strong light and shows the marks at their strongest appearance.
  • The record has been ultrasonically cleaned and plays great.
  • Front laminated flip-back sleeve is in VG+ condition - clean on the front with some age toning / foxing / spotting on the rear.
  • The label on the A side has the word 'Deleted' written in biro pen, (small letters, please see the photos)
  • Original EMI 'Musical Centres of the World' poly-lined inner
  • Truly one of the rarest UK issued classical records.
