Ella Mae Morse with Big Dave And His Orchestra " Barrelhouse, Boogie, And The Blues " Capitol H 513 Mono 1950. 10 inch LP. Books for up to $400.00 in some guides. Fairly hard to find in the 10 inch version. This artist sang a variety of styles including R&B, Jazz, Blues, etc. She is hard to categorize. The record has scratches and scuffs on both sides. Nothing bad. Nothing that can be felt. Pretty much surface only. It plays with some background noise and "crackling" in quiet areas with an occasional light "pop" or tick but no skips or hesitations. Her voice and the instruments come through pretty loud and strong. The labels have light wear and tracks. The cover has nice artwork with some surface wear and light spotting.Some yellowing and spotting (foxing) on the back with some ringwear. An inspection stamp here also.
