You are bidding on the RARE JAPAN released DAM (Daiichi-kateidenki Audio Members Club) 45 RPM STEREO RECORDING VINYL LP  of RICHARD STRAUSS' SALOME: Salome's Dance Of The Seven Veil's etc. from scene 4 - directed by Herbert Von Karajan & performed by THE VIENNA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA 

45rpm LP, Catalog #DOR-0067 STEREO on TOSHIBA-EMI/ANGEL records of JAPAN, 1979   Recorded: 9-11, 13, 16-18, 20 May 1977 & 2 May 1978; Sophiensaal, Vienna Cutting Date: 20, Oct. 1979 Tape Recorder: Neumann MT-75 Drive Amplifier: Neumann SAL-74 Cutting Lathe: Neumann VMS-80 QUARTZ ROCK MOTOR Cutting Head: Neumann SX-74  
  • "DAM" records were produced in limited numbers and made available only by mail-order to customers of (& in) JAPAN'S #1 electronics retailer in the 70's & 80's.
  • The sound reproduction of these vinyl lp's is far superior to any other releases of their time as only the highest grade virgin vinyl & the very best recording/vinyl cutting machines & technology was utilized in their production...reputable Japanese quality at its best!
  CONDITION: (I play check each vinyl in its entirety before listing)
