Description

Rare Memphis Sun Records paper memorabilia !   Original Sun Royalty statement - Tommy Blake 1959   Original Type written royalty statement  for artist Tommy Blake on Sun letter head paper from the 639 Madison address. Yellow paper  standard typing paper 8  1/2 x 11 , brown ink Sun logo, and address w/typewritten statement of royalties signed by Sally Wilbourn who apparently  did the royalty letters.   letter is dated Aug 15, 1959. No stains , no tears.  The artist's copy of Sun 45 # 300 by  TommyBlake   is included w/ company  letter. This artifact would look stunning framed. This was purchased from the  artist's family by a friend of mine.    Condition of paper is excellent, w/ fold marks. Record is VG...but the rare important item is the letter. This is the only Sun paper item I have owned in  over 35 years....   I will not make copies of this rare document, so don't ask for any type of copy. It would be unfair to the final buyer. This is a one of a kind items perfect for your record room wall , musuem , or   rock and roll bar.   This item will only be sent byinsured  registered mail for safety and packed professionally with cardboard in a proper box.
