Here is a mega RARE vintage Jazz album offered up for sale: An original 1956 pressing of The Modern Jazz Quartet's album "Django" with Milt Jackson, Percy Heath, John Lewis and Kenny Clarke. This 58 year old hard to find Jazz relic has the vintage 1956 style yellow Prestige labels with 50th Street N.Y.C. address! Released by Prestige Records PRLP 7057 (mono). This rigid record grades VG/VG+, is clean and glossy, has some light sleeve wear, a couple of light marks on both sides, nothing heavy, has been well loved and well cared for, this record still plays great! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, clear sound with some light surface noise, couple of light errant pops, the music comes through, no skips, no jumps, a very enjoyable listen! A rare old record and great playing original! The early heavy weight jacket rates VG/VG+, is clean and still has gloss, great looking artwork on front, color is good, white bright, back rear slick has a couple faint stains (see photo), center splits in upper & binder seams have been neatly repaired with non-yellowing tape (unnoticeable), no signatures or stickers, cover notes on back are all still readable!
