"Don't Judge Me On The Outside b/w I Live In A Castle"
While not much info can be found on this R&B singer, this obscure Norther Soul '65 release from the legendary Ollie McLaughlin's stable of great Michigan singers was "lost" between
(2) Matt Lucas 45's for the label.
Whilst the "popcorn" sounding B-side generally gets more attention, it's the A-side
that really brings out that excellent "raw & uptempo" elusive powerhouse sound.
This appears to have been his only 45 effort from what we have been able to determine.
The vinyl & label still maintain a high gloss, and this 45 could almost pass for new
were it not for an insignificant stress fracture on the vinyl inner trail-off area
that does not affect the play what-so-ever.
