Description
Here is a RARE Christmas album from my collection offered up for sale: "All Star Christmas", this is a 1st pressing from 1961 on Columbia CS 8499 Stereo, 6 eye labels, has original printed inner sleeve. Music features 18 year old Aretha Franklin at the beginning of her journey to superstardom singing a soulful "Kissin' by the mistletoe", Johnny Cash singing "Little drummer boy", Les Paul & Mary ford singing "The Christmas Song", Frankie Laine sings "You're all I want for Christmas" and more! HARD to find compilation and a great album!
The record grades VG+, is super clean and glossy, only very light marks, looks minimally played! This vinyl has been PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish with very good sound quality, clear sound and quiet play, no skips or jumps, an enjoyable listen!
The cover rates VG+, is clean with minimal ring wear, minimal age discoloration, binder edge EX and readable, minimal wear to top edge, corners EX, no splits, no tape, no signatures or writing, has been VERY well preserved for 60 years! (see all photos)
