Description
THIS AUCTION LOT CONSISTS OF: One original, and VERY rare, circa 1961-1962 Northwest Rock vinyl 45 featuring two killer instrumental tunes by THE TITANS: "Marquette" and "A-Rab." One is a rockin' knockoff of the Wailers' 1959 hit, "Tall Cool One." Originally issued on Seattle's Nolta label (a sister label to Seafair and Bolo Records) this is the even rarer Canadian pressing on the Hitt label. The Titans hailed from the small towns of Satsop & Montesano, Washington and recorded in Seattle at Joe Boles' studio.
CONDITION: Both labels have original owner's name written on them. One label has some visible grime or light stain, possibly cleanable. Vinyl is better: VG- with lots of nice playing still ahead.
