PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1969 first press... this is the by far more rare French release from 48 years ago featuring a decidedly superior alternate laminated cover design. We've never had nor seen before - quite rare! You like Cream & Ten Years After meeting hard blues & prog direction? This is for you....
The founding members were Georg Wadenius (guitar), Bo Häggström (bass, organ), and Tommy "Slim" Borgudd (drums) previously members of the pioneering Swedish rock group "Lea Riders Group", which broke up in mid-1968 being a solid beat/mod/rock band - but rather neglected group. As MADE IN SWEDEN they made solid worthy hard psych/prog underground albums. Made In Sweden were much in the vein of Ten Years After before fame in the similar mixture between hardrock, jazz, blues & prog. The sound is also comparable to Cream as well as the Beefeaters, and the mighty Youngflowers.
Originally the trio, MADE IN SWEDEN, founded by guitarist George WADENIUS, bassist Bo HAGGSTROM and drummer Tommy BORGUDD released 3 studio albums and a live album, and won Grammis for Best Band in 1969 and 1970. The trio would split up later on and over time the original members would join a band called SOLAR PLEXUS. Their reformation in the mid 70's made them something of a supergroup with musicians from Finland joining the band; namely Pekka POHJOLA from WIGWAM and drummer Vesa AALTONEN from TASAVALLAN PRESIDENTTI.
"Snakes in a hole" is very innovative with GREAT guitar in underground hardrock tendencies.
