Record has a couple tiny superficial marks that do not affect play....AMAZING FOR THIS NOSTALGIC GEM!. REMEMBER THIS ALBUM IS 30+ YEARS OLD!!! THE LP HAS THE FOLLOWING SELECTIONS; Side one: 1:-YOU CAN BE ANYONE THIS TIME AROUND....Track 1 (You Can Be Anyone This Time Around) is a spoken word mantra over various snippets of music (groovy, Indian etc); "you can be the High Priestess of Love this time around, you can be Krishna this time around" etc.
2:WHAT DO YOU TURN ON WHEN YOU TURN ON....Track 2 (What Do You Turn On When You Turn On) is again spoken word but with a single peice of groovy music providing the background to Leary's biochemical rap giving us an early version of his later infatuation with high-tech, the human body being likened to a computer. Side two: 1:LIVE AND LET LIVE.... Track 3 (Live and Let Live) is a recording of a press-conference with Leary presenting his political program before a friendly crowd. What's also of interest that the music playing in the background is from a jam-session with Stephen Stills (guitar), John Sebastian (guitar), Buddy Miles (drums) and Jimi Hendrix on bass Every song is a journey back to a very different and new era of self exploration of the young generation of the 1960s &70s from beginning to end.by the man dubed dr. timothy leary!
