We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Very rare ACID ARCHIVES Original first pressing of '70s hard artrock progressive underground  crew, known simply as SMITHFIELD FREEMAN  ...their only album, but what an album! A full listen to this "aural experience" is exhausting, exhillarting and entertaining...

WELL...the last hurrah of the progressive '70s... here's a little known, highly interesting album...there is A LOT going on within the two sides ... these cats were obviously listening to their early 70's English progressive records and one can detect those influences all throughout the self composed tracks that include plenty of dazzling keyboards (Keith Emmerson anyone?), loud sharp guitar injections, bunches of sound effects and well formulated melodies...those melodies infact often key up the likes of Arthur Brown's Kingdome Come, The Nice, Van der Graaf Generator, and so on, even a twist of Second Hand (who made the 'Death May Be Your Santa Claus' Lp) ...and beyond, all mixed about with the bands own ideas ...

After the first rather opening tepid track "Suite Madness" (with Mellotron no less) this thing really opens up with varied degrees of well performed atmospherics, include a great infectious psych track ("See Yourself") and moves on with surprising degrees throughout the rest of side one... A chilling eerie start up on side two unfolds an excess of adventures...even heard some Gothic in there (long before it was popular.) The production and recording budget is huge, for a private pressing, expansive and lush wide range sound, a real treat for the stereo-phonix listeners paying attention to all the complex moves throughout. Mostly male vocals include a talented female singer who keeps things interesting. One you can listen to several times and keep picking out on-going details within the dense creative mixes. Not all their ideas work (caberet w/megaphone voice over, anyone?) but overall no one can argue this isn't an interesting piece of work by a totally unknown band. Surprised it isn't worth a small fortune ... only time will tell when the masses in universal prog-land catch on....  

CONDITION:  thick old style USA cover in delicious black & white, is highly collectible worthy copy as STILL FACTORY SEALED (never opened) ... no split seams, no bends, no writing
