RARE Mexican 78 by Lalo Guerrero on Imperial 329. 1949. Highly sought after original 78 record of Marijuana Boogie and Los Chucos Suaves. Comes in original Imperial sleeve. WATCH THE VIDEO OF IT PLAYING. Playing surface grades VG with mostly minor surface marks & light scratches and a deeper scratch on last half of B side which plays through unnoticed by me. Has a flea bite on A side near the end making 2 ticks (second tick is louder). Plays very cleanly and clearly with some distortion gradually appearing towards last third. None of this however takes away from the song. It’s a great player! No cracks or hairlines, no warp. See photos for labels. Will consider BEST OFFER, although this record typically brings a lot.
I have much experience packing and shipping 78 records for the last 15 years. Each record sleeved and sandwiched between 6 pcs of cardboard, then bubble wrapped and placed in a new 6x6x12 box with peanuts. I have received many positive comments about my packing.
