RARE 78 RECORDS SET 4 LOST SCHUMANN VIOLIN CONCERTO MENUHIN 1937 & SOUV. PROGRAM
MORE PHOTOS BELOW This auction is for a very rare original 1937/1938, 4 record set (78 rpm) of Schumann's Lost Concerto in D minor played by Yehudi Menuhin. It was very controversial at the time - research it. The records are in truly excellent condition - I found a couple of small scratches looking closely under strong lighting. They could use a professional cleaning. A tear on the end of the binder - see photos. I took many photos for you to be able to get a good look. Will be packed well for safe shipment. From my research this set seems to be a historically important collectable.Also included is an original Souvenir Program from the Carnegie Hall conscert in Dec 1937. Also rare. It is in nice condition.
