Two most charming rumba’s with great saxophone playing. Unknown singer. I searched the internet, the liner notes to my CDs and my reference books on African and Congolese music, but couldn’t find a thing.

 

VG+ to EX- condition – some surface marks that do not affect play – plays with soft background noise, no clicks or pops – check out the mp3 samples. The mp3s are raw, unprocessed recordings made on a standard turntable and converted to 78 rpm using Audacity software. I didn’t do anything to clean up the sound. The record should sound much superior when played on a proper 78rpm turntable and with a specific needle.  Further info and additional pictures available on request.
