SUPER RARE PREWAR BLUES Walter Hawkins Paramount 12814 Snatch It And Grab It/ A Rag Blues
Recorded June, 14 1929 in Richmond, IN. The same day that Charlie Patton recorded his first 14 sides, hence the theory that the second vocal on Snatch It And Grab It is Patton himself. I'll let you decide the validity of that claim, but it is an incredible record either way.
Condition is decent for what this is. Please see the photos to determine for yourself. There are definitely some marks and there is an inclusion in the pressing that can be seen on both sides. It does not affect play in any way. There is also a slight warp to the record that can be most determined in the label area. It too does not affect play on my standard setup.
