Description
This is an original music recording studio acetate 10 Inch 45 RPM EP Demo Record with four songs produced by Jerry Ragovoy. Track 3 ( She Came Like The Rain) by Warner Bros Records recording artists and North Shore Long Island Rock Band "The Phaetons". This was recorded sometime in 1966 or 1967 when some of this material was finally released in 1967. It is labelled "CALLA RECORDS" and may have been a demo that Jerry Ragovoy, the producer was pitching to other recording labels at that time - I am not sure. It contains an alternate or earlier version of the song "She Came Like The Rain" which was eventually released as a B-Side on the Warner Bros. 45 Record "Three Weeks, Four Days And Fifteen Hours" (Warner Bros. Records – 7082) by The Phaetons in 1967. It is in Fair condition due to poor storage over the years and is showing several marks and scuffs as well as some severe edge chips and bubbles or corrosion that overlap into the start of track one as well as surface patterning or mottling where it may have stuck to a sleeve previously. This has been washed and was test played.
This is offered "as-is" and as described. Recorded at Allegro Sound Recording Studio NYC. Appears to be from circa 1967. Band photo pictured is not included - for reference only.
