Description

Extremely rare unopened set of reel to reel tapes from the famed Glyndebourne Opera Festival, featuring the complete acclaimed 1956 performance of Mozart's Marriage of Figaro.

These tapes were unsold dealer stock and are sealed, although there is minor damage to the sealed cellophane, as shown.

These are from a private collection of a professional musician, now selling due to pandemic economic hardship.

I do not know the condition of these tapes in the boxes as they are still sealed and have been stored in a cool dry place for the past 65 years. Asking price reflects that. They are sold as is.
