HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION ...
This rare record is from 1959 and is in very good ++ condition. I give it a grade of 7 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being mint. THE LABEL HAS NO SCRATCHES OR WRITING .. NOT A COLLECTOR AND I KNOW IT'S HARD TO GRADE , BUT TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THE PHOTS'S , I THINK YOU WILL AGREE THIS IS A NICE 45

VERY RARE RECORD - I FOUND A LIITLE INFO ON THIS GUY ,,
Art Buchanan, also known as "Art Ontario", is one of Dixie Records’ unsung heroes. Buchanan had one release in Dixie’s commercial rock & roll series, but his two other singles were issued in the regional series, maybe due to the bad sales.
Buchanan was born Arthur Buchanan and made his first recordings in 1958 for the small Illinois label. In 1959, he switched to Starday Records’ subsidiary Dixie Records, where his first single came out in the summer of 1959 consisting of It Must Be Me and Last Goodbye. The sales seemed not to be as good as they should, because his next single was issued only regional. Queen From Bowling Green is one of his more famous songs and an unique rockabilly song. This was the first time he used the name "Art Buchanan"; before that, his singles were credited to "Art Ontario".
In March 1963, his last Dixie release was issued and featured Buchanan’s rendition of the well-known western song Hi Yo Silver backed by the old Hank Williams tune I Can’t Help It. There was also a mysterious record on the Flame label, which could have been owned by Buchanan himself due to the catalog number that shows BUCH-1. On this particular single, Time Will Tell B/w Lonely Highway, his was accompanied by his Combo, which maybe was the same group that backed him on his Dixie recordings.
Buchanan continued to record, but we have no other info on his later career. In 1991, Lost Gold Records issued a CD with Buchanan’s compiled works.
